Our apps may store information on your device — health data you allow us to read, things you enter, and diagnostic logs. None of it is ever sent to us. We operate no servers that receive your data and have no way to see it.
Depending on the app, this can include:
All of it is written to your device's own storage, protected by iOS. It stays there.
We want to be exact about this, because "we don't collect data" is a claim many apps make loosely. The accurate statement is:
If an app connects to the internet — for example, to load content or check for updates — those requests never include your health data, the information you have entered, or your diagnostic logs.
As with any internet request, the service being contacted can see your device's IP address. That is how the internet works and is outside our control. We receive nothing from those connections.
Where an app reads from or writes to Apple Health, that happens entirely on your device, under permissions you grant and can revoke at any time in the Health app.
Health data is never transmitted off your device by us, never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. We have no access to it at any point.
If you have iCloud Backup or iCloud sync enabled, iOS may include app data in your backup or sync it between your own devices. That is a service Apple provides to you, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. It is held in your Apple account, not ours, and we cannot access it.
Apple provides developers with aggregate information about App Store activity — download counts, crash reports, ratings. This comes from Apple, is aggregated across all users, and does not identify you. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Because everything lives on your device, you control it completely. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Health data stays in Apple Health and is managed there. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, remove the app's data from your backup through iOS Settings.
There is nothing for you to request from us, because we hold nothing.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. Because no personal information is transmitted to us from anyone, none is transmitted from children.
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you — it never leaves your device — so there is nothing for us to produce, correct, or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we'll look into it.
If our apps ever change in a way that affects privacy, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
